16th-19th. Stormy through Quebec and Maritimes, turning fair.
20th-23rd. Hot, followed by scattered thunderstorms.
24th-27th. Showers, then fair and hot again.
28th-31st. Stormy.

August 2013
1st-3rd. Hot and sultry.
4th-7th. Wet for New Brunswick Day, followed by clearing.
8th-11th. Fair.
12th-15th. Stormy weather spreads up from the south, then fair.
16th-19th. Fair for the Gold Cup Parade in Charlottetown.
20th-23rd. Showers, then fair and pleasant.
24th-27th. Showery and rainy.
28th-31st. A hurricane threat for Nova Scotia and PEI; near miss for New Brunswick; fair and pleasant conditions for Quebec.

September 2013
1st-3rd. Wet initially, then hopefully fair for Labour Day holiday.
4th-7th. Hurricane threat along the Atlantic Coast (Cape Sable, Halifax, Cape Breton Island), otherwise generally fair, warm and humid.
8th-11th. Thunderstorms sweep across Quebec and the Maritimes, then fair.

If you notice a hole in the upper left-hand corner of your Farmers' Almanac, don't return it to the store! That hole isn't a defect; it's a part of history. Starting with the first edition of the Farmers' Almanac in 1818, readers used to nail holes into the corners to hang it up in their homes, barns, and outhouses (to provide both reading material and toilet paper). In 1910, the Almanac's publishers began pre-drilling holes in the corners to make it even easier for readers to keep all of that invaluable information (and paper) handy.
