Long Range Weather Forecast for July 12th - September 11th

July 2013
12th-15th. The heat persists, then unsettled, especially in Utah.
16th-19th. Windy.
20th-23rd. Still hot, scattered showers.
24th-27th. Windy and continued hot.
28th-31st. Fair, then showers move in.
August 2013
1st-3rd. Very hot and dry.
4th-7th. Little change from hot and dry.
8th-11th. Fair, then perhaps a few showers for California. Windy and showery for Arizona.
12th-15th. Clearing.
16th-19th. Windy, hot, and dry.
20th-23rd. Hot spell is broken in some areas by widely scattered showers and gusty thunderstorms.
24th-27th. Thunderstorms for Arizona.
28th-31st. Mostly fair, then wet for Utah. Some showers for parts of California.
September 2013
1st-3rd. Mainly cloudy Arizona; clearing for California.
4th-7th. Pleasant, turning stormy.
8th-11th. Fair skies.

Helpful Weather Links
If you notice a hole in the upper left-hand corner of your Farmers' Almanac, don't return it to the store! That hole isn't a defect; it's a part of history. Starting with the first edition of the Farmers' Almanac in 1818, readers used to nail holes into the corners to hang it up in their homes, barns, and outhouses (to provide both reading material and toilet paper). In 1910, the Almanac's publishers began pre-drilling holes in the corners to make it even easier for readers to keep all of that invaluable information (and paper) handy.
